Stage 8: Paru – The Jaredite & Mayan Connection

(Pre-Emerging & Emerging Living Things)

The Paru Stones were more than relics—they were prophetic markers of destiny, stretching across civilizations and dispensations, binding the Jaredites, Mayans, and their descendants into one great continuum. They were beacons for life itself, ensuring that the pre-emerging and emerging threads of humanity stayed aligned with divine covenant and cosmic law.

Long before Nephites and Lamanites rose in ancient America, the Jaredites discovered the Paru Stones. Entrusted with divine purpose, they used them as instruments of prophecy, aligning their civilization with the will of heaven. Yet time, as it always does, shifted. As the Jaredite empire waned, the Mayans inherited the stones. They too read them as divine instruments, shaping their ceremonies and prophecies around the resonance that pulsed through the artifacts. Through these stones, Christ’s map—the unseen pathway of his divine mission—was preserved, ensuring his teachings would someday reach these distant lands. But purpose was not always clarity. As civilizations rose and fell, the stones’ meaning blurred, leaving room for distortion and misinterpretation.

The migrations that followed scattered bloodlines across the vastness of America. Jaredites, Nephites, and Lamanites diverged in culture, yet remained entangled in promise. Out of these scattered peoples emerged the Native tribes of the Americas, inheritors of mystery and covenant, guardians of the Paru Stones’ sacred memory. As Holy Keepers, they preserved divine resonance in quiet defiance, holding the covenant while under threat from those who sought to seize the stones for selfish gain. Their struggle was constant: to protect without revealing, to preserve without being consumed by the forces that coveted their charge.

Yet even the Paru Stones were not the whole of it. For hidden deeper lay the ARK, the most sacred artifact of all. It was too powerful for human hands, and so the Lord commanded it sealed, hidden away from those who would exploit its secrets. The Paru Stones would continue guiding humanity, but the ARK remained veiled—its rediscovery reserved for a future appointed hour. That sealing preserved balance until Joseph Smith’s hand one day brushed away the dust, aligning once more the timeline of humanity with divine prophecy.

Thus unfolded the Apocalyptian Cycle. The stones became anchors of time-space alignment, ensuring prophecy and reality stayed braided together. They were never trophies, never weapons, but guiding beacons—markers of humanity’s ongoing covenant. The Jaredites had borne them, the Mayans had guarded them, the scattered tribes preserved their whispers, and the prophets reawakened them. Together with the hidden ARK and the seven remaining stones, they continued to pulse at the heart of divine knowledge.

The Paru Stones endure not as ornaments of the past but as living markers of destiny, their resonance pulling humanity back, again and again, into alignment with the covenant. The Apocalyptian Cycle turns, prophecy and reality twining as one, with the stones watching silently—untouchable, unyielding, guiding.
